4”, 6", & 8" Square 0.25" Bare Necessities Essential Kit with 2 Dual-sided 8” cake combs
The Bare Necessities Kit has undergone a glow up!! This kit now includes TWO 8” combination cake combs, featuring one flat edge for smoothing and three of our bestselling cake comb designs: Micki, Henry, and Elizabeth. These new combs will allow you to easily smooth your cakes to perfection and finish them with a fabulous buttercream pattern.

2 Dual-sided 8” Combination Cake Combs. One comb features the Elizabeth and Henry designs and the second comb features the Micki design along with a flat edge for smoothing.
Instructions for using 2 disks will be included in your package.
Center Hole:
All of our disks come with center holes. The 3/8" center hole helps bakers to center their cake tiers on the disks by using a temporary dowel as they ice. If you do not chill your cakes before icing with the disks, you will need to put a temporary dowel through the disks and cake to make sure your layers do not shift. The center holes do not affect the performance of the disks, should you choose not to use them.
Our general rule of thumb is:
.25" sizing
For cakes that shrink MORE than 1/8" OR your cakes do not shrink, but you are planning to cover with fondant
