These food-grade Cake Smoothers are an ideal way to help finish your cake off, by achieving perfect, sharp edges, and flat sugarpaste surface.
Finish your ganache covered cake with perfect edges. A firm and straight ganache finish is the perfect base for applying a quality fondant. The better the ganache finish, the better the applied fondant will look.
Allows you to smooth fondant out. Work any creases slowly and carefully to achieve a perfect finish.
For a round cake, place the curved edge smoother on top of the fondant covered cake facing the edge, and the straight edge of the other smoother on the side of your cake. Run the two smoothers along the edge of the cake, until the edge is as sharp as desired. For square cakes, use the straight edge of each smoother to achieve the desired result.
